Beagle with lymphoma? - lymphoma and intestinal obstruction

My beagle, 9 years, was recently diagnosed with lymphoma. It is in a lymph node in the uterus and the lining of the intestinal wall. He is on prednisone and eating well now. The only indication that something bad is often from the neck shivered. Any idea what's going on? Thank you - Gayle
